In 2022, City Thread began when three people came together with the same question: Why does it take so long to make changes to city streets and spaces?

Projects take too long to happen, and delays hurt our communities. City Thread uses a proven playbook to overcome obstacles and deliver vital place-based projects faster, more effectively, and more efficiently than ever before. From transit equity to quality housing, we believe every resident has the right to access economic opportunity, enjoy vibrant public places, and actively shape the future of their community.
