Your Support Helps Communities Deliver

City Thread is a national nonprofit that helps communities turn ambitious plans into finished projects.

The biggest obstacle is trust. People don’t trust decisions made without them, institutions work in silos, and projects that should take months stall for years.

The Playbook helps local leaders build the relationships, processes, and resources to work together and deliver on their promises. Every finished project builds the confidence and momentum for what comes next.

Discover where your gift can help communities deliver

  • Playbook Technical Assistance Grant: Help local leaders get a clear picture of what it takes to deliver an ambitious plan, then move it toward implementation.

  • National Playbook Cohort: Connect local leaders across communities so they can learn from one another and move projects forward.

  • Playbook resource library: Share guides, tools, and case studies that help local leaders move shared priorities toward delivery.

  • Playbook Implementation Fund: Give communities the resources to move Playbook priorities into implementation without delay for lack of funding.

  • Fully fund the Playbook in Columbus: Start with audience research, coalition development, and fund development for future work.
